Shintaro Fujinami
Right-hander with triple-digit heat but persistent command issues. CL Rookie of the Year-tier honors in 2013 with the Hanshin Tigers and the 2015 NPB strikeout leader, but never fully harnessed his control. Signed with Oakland in 2023 on a 1-yr/$3.25M deal, traded mid-season to Baltimore (7-8, 7.18 ERA, 83 K). After a 2024 Mets minor-league stint, returned to NPB in 2025.
