Unlike Barrel%, Hard-Hit% doesn't require an ideal launch angle — pure raw contact strength.
Even ground balls count if hit hard enough, signaling pressure on opposing defenses.
Hitters strong in both Hard-Hit% and Barrel% are the ideal (Ohtani, Judge, etc.).
